Class will be held Sundays for 6 weeks. Each week will focus on a new theme such as mealtime, bed time, bath time, pets, getting dressed and park signs.

Parent Workshop

This one-time introductory workshop teaches everything you need to know to get started with the Baby Signs® Program. You will learn:

* how to begin signing with your baby
* effective ways to begin teaching signs at home
* easy ways to use signs in daily routines
* what to expect as your baby transitions from signs to speech

I am pleased to offer Signing Time classes geared to 3-6 year olds! In this class, your preschooler or school-aged child will learn real American Sign Language signs, and acquire the building blocks for a second language. Based on the award-winning PBS show, Signing Time, your child will learn through pictures, and silly songs. This is a great introduction to signs your child can use on a daily basis. PELP's classes are designed by speech-language pathologists and take signing with baby to a new level! Families learn: how to sign effectively, developmental info for recognizing signs, strategies to encourage baby to sign back and more - all while participating in play & songs to give ideas for carry-over at home.
