Tag: preschoolsJust moved to PortlandSubmitted by Barb on June 3, 2008 - 8:48am.Hi, we just moved here too (last week). I'm a stay-at-home mom w/ a 3.5 yr old son. We'll be renting a home in Portland Heights starting in Aug. Can anyone suggest great play-based preschools in the general area? I checked out Hillside Cmty Cntr & thought it was cute. But, they have a new teacher starting in the Fall so that is an unknown & I haven't heard much about it from asking around. Multnomah Play was suggested but they have a waitlist. Also, is there a website where moms post their recommendations for good doctors? play-places? Now there is competition heating up for finding the right school. Sites such as GreatSchools and Education.com are providing useful interfaces into an enormous amount of data. These sites even get reviewed by Walt Mossberg in the Wall Street Journal. |
