 DescriptionScuola Italiana di Portland offers Italian language and cultural enrichment programs to both children and adults. Our Reggio Emilia inspired preschool, which is located in the Zimmerman Community Center in the Pearl District, is taught by native Italian and published children’s author, Lara Carnovali. Lara is an accredited teacher with many years of experience teaching elementary age students in Milan, Italy. We also offer after-school and weekend language classes for children and adults (beginner, intermediate and advanced classes) and summer camps for children ages 3 to 12 at several Portland area locations. DescriptionScuola Italiana di Portland is an Italian language and cultural enrichment program that expands students' language abilities and cultural perspectives in a fun, creative environment. We offer beginner, intermediate and advanced classes for adults, children ages 3 through 12 and a Reggio Emilia inspired preschool for 3 to 4 year olds. Scuola Italiana, a 501-c3 non-profit organization, has grown from a small group of dedicated families to a thriving children's language program with over 30 students.
