Bridgeport Road, will hold a May Day, Special Children’s Story Time Party, upstairs in the children’s department. The party will include spring themed stories, a craft, games and prizes. The party is being co-hosted by the Tualatin Sylvan Learning Center with representatives from the Center helping with the games and available to answer questions about Sylvan Learning Centers. " All-day kindergarten programs have been steadily on the rise across the country and 60% of schools now offer a full-day program. Many parents and teachers believe attending school a full day helps kids tremendously and many studies have proven its advantages. Still, with school districts facing severe budget deficits, all-day kindergarten programs might be the targets of drastic funding cuts. »
