6-week series introduces 75+ ASL signs: everyday, meal-time, play-time, animals & more.

But...our classes go even further! Developed & taught by local speech-language pathologist Christina Schabow, classes are designed to set families up for success. Families learn how to sign effectively through the day, developmental information for recognizing early signs, strategies for encouraging baby to sign back and more all while participating in activities & songs to give families ideas for carry-over at home. All signs are ASL.

Myth: It’s easier and healthier to potty train your baby if you wait until around age 2 or 3.

Fact: The truth is, potty training a baby under the age of 24 months is actually easier than potty training an older child. Why? Because as children get older, they want to make more and more decisions on their own. Bring your infants & toddlers for Story Time with BeeBo? the Baby Signs® Bear. Through children?s stories, BeeBo?, the Baby Signs® Bear, and lots of fun, we will show you how you can learn to communicate with your infant/toddler through simple signs and gestures.

A series of six theme-based classes generally offered over a 6-week period, with 45-minute sessions designed for parents and babies to attend together. A total of 37 useful signs are taught through fun songs, books, and activities. In addition, parents learn simple ways to support their baby's intellectual development-tips drawn from Drs. Acredolo and Goodwyn's second parenting book, Baby Minds: Brain Building Games Your Baby Will Love.

Each family will receive a take home play kit full of fun things to continue learning and playing at home!

This particular class will be held every Wednesday & Saturday for three weeks (total of six classes) March 7th - March 21st 2009

This 90-minute class provides parents with an overview of the Baby Signs® Program including the many benefits of signing, basic "How Tos" for teaching babies to sign, and many of the most useful signs through games, songs, and entertaining activities.

Each family will go home with a kit full of tools to continue learning and teaching at home!
