family outingBest Places to Bike Ride with Kids?Submitted by marcy on February 16, 2010 - 10:53amNow that our two boys have learned to ride their bikes we're on the look out for good trails and safe places where we can take family rides. Portland is a very bike-centric city but not every trail is good for 5 year olds - some are too hilly, too crowded with runners or other cyclists, or just too dangerous. Luckily we found the article below before we set out to ride this weekend, listing a number of great trails for the 4-9 year old set. We tried a couple of them and had a great time.
