How Parents' Concern and even PBS are Ruining Kids - Huff Post article

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/kari-henley/nurture-shock-how-praise_b_450...

This is a really interesting, thought-provoking blog post regarding parenting and the idea that parental praise and over-protection, and even PBS shows, are ruining kids these days. Many points are sure to be controversial but worth considering nonetheless. The author references a new book, Nurture-Shock, New Thinking about Children by Po Bronson and Ashley Merryman, which sounds like a must-read for every parent. It's the first of two blogs on the subject, on the Huffington Post.
