Just moved to Portland

Hi, we just moved here too (last week). I'm a stay-at-home mom w/ a 3.5 yr old son. We'll be renting a home in Portland Heights starting in Aug. Can anyone suggest great play-based preschools in the general area? I checked out Hillside Cmty Cntr & thought it was cute. But, they have a new teacher starting in the Fall so that is an unknown & I haven't heard much about it from asking around. Multnomah Play was suggested but they have a waitlist. Also, is there a website where moms post their recommendations for good doctors? play-places?
