There's not much time these days to read cooking magazines or stroll the aisles of my favorite food stores, and our family dinners would hardly be called gourmet, but with this show I at least get to escape for an hour a week into the world of fabulous food and (mostly) amazing chefs. It's reality TV but at least a slightly higher level of it than some other shows out there. And with Padma Lakshmi as the host, you can probably get your husbands to join you for some couch time!
