Suggestions?

Hi - we have twin boys who are late talkers - no real babble until 2-ish, and now at 3 1/2 just starting to use 3-4 word phrases, but still usually use just a word at a time or a gesture. they do some signs but don't rely on that as their communication. They started early intervention for speech at about age 1, when they weren't babbling as much as other babies, and that continues today. While they are progressing more quickly now they still have a ways to go before they catch up to their peers. Have any of you experienced this lack of talking in your kids at this age?
