 DescriptionBased on an award-winning PBS show, these classes (and the Signing Time videos) teach American Sign Language signs to your infant/toddler or older child with music, pictures, and silly songs, and you'll be amazed how quickly you'll find your child starting to be able to communicate. Our teacher, Carissa Martos, is the only Instructor in Oregon certified at the Advanced Level through the Signing Time Academy. She holds a B.A. in English from the University of California in Berkeley, and is currently earning her Master's in Teaching. She's also the mother of two children with special-needs for whom Sign Language has worked near miracles, and is a member of Hands and Voices and the Oregon Association of the Deaf.
