In this class, your preschooler or school-aged child will learn real American Sign Language signs, and acquire the building blocks for a second language. Based on the award-winning PBS show, Signing Time, your child will learn through pictures, and silly songs. This is a great introduction to signs your child can use on a daily basis. Forget the stiff, posed portraits of yesterday - I believe in capturing people as they are, and real moments as they happen. You will get photos with natural, candid expressions. Baby Sign Language Classes
 DescriptionBased on an award-winning PBS show, these classes (and the Signing Time videos) teach American Sign Language signs to your infant/toddler or older child with music, pictures, and silly songs, and you'll be amazed how quickly you'll find your child starting to be able to communicate. Our teacher, Carissa Martos, is the only Instructor in Oregon certified at the Advanced Level through the Signing Time Academy. She holds a B.A. in English from the University of California in Berkeley, and is currently earning her Master's in Teaching. She's also the mother of two children with special-needs for whom Sign Language has worked near miracles, and is a member of Hands and Voices and the Oregon Association of the Deaf. Bridgeport Road , will hold a birthday party for Elmo, upstairs in the children’s department. Every February the furry red fellow from Sesame Street turns three, so we throw a party. Elmo will not be appearing at the party but we will host stories, crafts, games and prizes in his honor. This event is free and geared to preschoolers and everyone who loves Sesame Street . DescriptionKids Klubhouse is a state licensed drop-in childcare facility accepting children ages 30 mon. thru 12 yrs. We have been located in the West Hills by St. Vincent’s for over 11 years providing lots of fun and safe activities. There’s a small registration fee($15) and just a one hour minimum. We charge $6.00/hr for one child and $10.00/hr for two kids. All of our staff are enrolled in the Oregon Criminal History Registry and are First Aid/CPR certified.
